Controlling the risks to psychological health in the workplace - Bunbury
This is a practical and comprehensive session where participants will develop and apply their knowledge of controls that reduce the risk of employees being exposed to psychosocial hazards in the work environment.
A WorkSafe Senior Inspector, Health Hazards Branch, will guide participants through applying the hierarchy of controls to psychosocial hazards. This includes examining three levels of evidenced based controls in relation to specific psychosocial hazards (work-related stress and bullying). During this session, participants will apply their knowledge of the evidence based controls to case studies.
Target Audience: This session would be most applicable to people who are involved in preventing and managing psychosocial hazards including such as OSH Officers, HR managers, and senior leaders in workplaces.
